ABOUT

Central Ohio Canine Foundation (COCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports local K-9s. The foundation's goal is to help fund police, fire, search and rescue, and service dogs for veterans. COCF is currently working to serve nine counties in Ohio. It is not only our goal as an organization to support the K-9s but the outstanding men and women who handle them day in and day out.

Central Ohio Canine Foundation was born out of love for man’s best friend. It started with our president Tom Cronenwett and his K-9 partner Nik. When Tom started his journey with Nik he didn’t have all the proper equipment needed to safely patrol the streets. Through fundraising Tom and everyone that supported Nik raised enough money to provide him with the equipment he needed. Tom decided, why stop there? So, the idea of a foundation to support local canines was founded. The Central Ohio Canine Foundation now serves Crawford, Delaware, Franklin, Knox, Licking, Marion, Morrow, Richland, and Union counties.
